Training on Blogging and how to Post Properly.

I took a training this morning on posting on my blog once I had it set up.  This training on Blogging and how to Post Properly  was done with Keith Dennis, Mike Silva and Bob Yeager.

Here are some of the things I learned.

Find your niche and make sure all the posting are done in that area, in other words don’t put all kinds of different information on your blog that are in a different areas of expertise.  Have a different blog for each niche if needed.

Use notepad to put in your ideas, refine and then copy and paste from notepad.  Notepad won’t put any codes and other things you don’t want into your blog, it is a straight text document.

Title of your blog post needs to be short and sweet.   Have your keyword strings in your title.

Put your title and at the beginning of your title as a h2 tag.  For example you want to use the tag < (open) h2 </>(close) h2.  This will make your header bold and the search engine will recognize this as important.   The search engines recognize the h2 more so than if you just put it in bold.

How about bold and italics?

A good way to start a different paragraph is with either bold or italics with the html editor in wordpress.  This is important if you wish to get the attention moneygram washington of the reader with your next thought.
